Founded in 1990 in Marlborough, New Zealand, Allan Scott Family Winemakers is owned by Allan and Catherine Scott. A true family affair, their son Josh is the winemaker, while daughters Sara and Victoria are the viticulturist and marketing manager respectively. The family owns vineyards along the northern edge of Wairau Valley in Rapaura and practice sustainably farming. The soils in this area are predominantly gravel. In 2010, their Millstone vineyard was certified organic.
