In 2007 Eric Glomski, the owner and director of Winemaking at Page Springs Cellars and Maynard Keenan, the owner of Caduceus Cellars, formed Arizona Stronghold Vineyards. Together they transformed the aging Dos Cabezas Vineyard near Willcox, Arizona into a top notch, cult winery. To date, they’ve planted Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Tempranillo, Sangiovese with Viognier and Malvasia Bianca anchoring the white plantings. (Several other varietals also supplement these grapes.) Stronghold’s goal is to put fine Arizona wine on tables throughout the United States.
