Marina Cvetic Iskra Rosso Colli Aprutini
750ML
2004
Sku: 87900041
Iskra – The Spark – is a jewel in the Masciarelli portfolio. The vineyard is located in Contraguerra, near Monte Amaro. Contraguerra – the remains of an ancient, battered seaside mountain – has gathered its soils from an ancient sea bed, the Trento River basin, and the glacial washout from Monte Piselli. With its rich, well drained soils and its ocean moderated warm climate, Contraguerra is home to the biggest, boldest, ripest reds in Abruzzo.
This special magnum bottle was personally signed by Marina Cvetic, Gianni Masciarelli's wife, who worked closely with him through the years. Today Marina is the main representative of the winery.
| Tasting notes |
| A complex, full-bodied red wine with pronounced notes of wild berries, blackberries, and spice. Smooth tannins and texture with an intense persistent finish. |
